You can register your company on Google Places if you go to:

www.google.com/lbc

or

www.google.com/local/add
 
Login and follow the instructions.

When you login in www.google.com/lbc and start entering the details of your company, you will reach the section of 5 categories. Once you start typing in, Google will suggest categories. Please ignore that suggestion and enter your keywords there. This will show your company on the map when your clients are searching in Google for the related keywords.
